Summer break is here and it’s time to start working on that flat stomach! Add this yummy Berry Flat Belly Detox Smoothie to your summer routine to help detox your body with the help of antioxidants and fat burning enzymes.

I love making this smoothie after a hike or run! It is refreshing and doesn’t have an overwhelming sweetness to it. Smoothies are a great go to for a light breakfast, lunch, or snack. I generally have this detox smoothie during lunch time and it keeps me full until dinner!

HOW TO MAKE BERRY FLAT BELLY DETOX SMOOTHIE
To make this smoothie you will need a blender or NutriBullet. I personally love using my NutriBullet because it blends everything so well and is super easy to clean.

For this smoothie you will use kale, pineapple, blueberries, raspberries, flax seed oil, and unsweetened almond milk. Place all your ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. I use frozen pineapple and blueberries, with fresh kale and raspberries. If you use all frozen you may find you need to add in some water or additional almond milk for a thinner consistency.

Pour this flat belly detox smoothie into a mason jar or cup and enjoy! Of course, don’t expect this smoothie to work wonders on you stomach. You do need to pair it with exercise and healthy eating. The smoothie simply helps nourish the body and promote more efficient fat burning and less inflammation.

Berry Flat Belly Detox Smoothie
Nourish your body with an antioxidant rich berry smoothie loaded with fat burning enzymes, anti-inflammatory properties, and fiber.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 cup chopped kale
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (frozen)
  • 1/3 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • about 10 raspberries
  • 1 tbsp flax seed oil
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
Instructions
  • Chop or cut veggies and fruits if needed then combine all ingredients into blender or NutriBullet.
  • Blend until smooth, then pour and enjoy!
Notes
  1. Add water or additional almond milk if smoothie is thicker than desired, which could result from using all frozen ingredients.
  2. You may add maple syrup (about 1 tbsp) or sweetened almond milk if you desire a sweeter taste.
